Employment and pensions

We cover all aspects of employment and pension law

Our lawyers have extensive experience in individual and collective employment law. Our individual employment law practice is primarily focused on redundancies, transfers of undertakings, personnel matters, incentive schemes, establishment and termination of employment, negotiations, HSE-related issues, absenteeism follow-up, working hour regulations, conflict handling and other ongoing advice. For many of our clients, we are the sparring partner of the head of HR in ongoing matters. We share our knowledge, holding seminars and making presentations on all of the above issues on a regular basis.

Our collective employment law practice is primarily focused on claims handling in relation to collective agreements, consultation issues and bargaining situations. We are familiar with the challenges posed by the relationship between employers and their confederations, on the one hand, and employees and their unions, on the other hand. A number of our lawyers have background from precisely such confederations and unions.

Our pension law practice covers individual and group pension issues, including changeover from defined-benefit to defined-contribution pensions, drafting of, and dispute resolution in relation to, individual and group pension agreements, unfunded pensions, contractual early retirement pensions, etc., as well as inter-company disputes concerning liability for pension scheme costs.
